De’Longhi Magnifica, Automatic Bean to Cup Coffee Machine, Espresso, Cappuccino, ESAM 4200.S, Silver Review

The De’Longhi is one of the entry bean to cup machine’s on the market. It represents a decent price with plenty of features that you’d expect.

Just inside the bean tray there’s a grinder setting with 7 adjustable settings.

Beans, beans everywhere!

A milk frother is located on the front right hand side of the machine. I found this a little hit and miss. It is possible to get the milk frothed but it takes a bit of patience. Hot water can also be dispensed by switching the steam dial down.

There’s a decent size water container at the side of the unit which means you’re not having to stop and fill all the time.

There’s enough settings and controls available that make the de’longhi allow for enough control of the various coffee styles, whilst at the same time not looking like a nasa control system. There’s essentially 2 main controls; 1 for coffee strength and 1 for the size of the coffee (I have both whacked up to max).

Amazon seem to be offering the best price on this at the moment. Keep an eye out for the warehouse deals. I managed to bag mine (like new) for a little over £170
